Enamel Jewelry
The enamel I use is made from crushed glass powder. It is applied to the metal and fired at extreme temperatures, high enough to melt glass onto the metal permanently. I like my earrings lightweight, so light that I forget I am wearing them. Silver or gold earring posts are available.
These earrings were created using enamel that would match the stone color. Indigo for the Lapis Lazuli and aqua for the natural turquoise. I had fun shaping these stones to match my design ideas.
